The report is not believed, though it creates quite a sensation among politicians on the street. The weather is warm and cloudy. A small shower fell this morning, and there is every indication of more. There are few passengers bound for Australia and New Zealand by the City of Melbourne to-day. As the Moses Taylor has not arrived from Honolula her sailing, advertised for to-morrow, wil! be certainly postponed.
