Show A French Dwarf. Among the exiles from France which tho late disastrous dis-astrous war has driven to our shores, not I he least remarkable is a graceful little lady who is now holding daily levees in Burlington Gallery. Tho Princess Felicie, as her exhibitors have christened her, is a genuino dwarf, a real living Lilliputian. She is, perhaps, per-haps, the smallest female yet exhibited in London, ono beside whom Miss Minnie Warren would be almost a giantess. Like Miss Minnie, the Princess Prin-cess Felicie is a child of parents of the, ordinary stature, who have accompanied accompani-ed her over to Kngland from her native na-tive Provence. Sho is now in her I ninth year, measures scarcely 19 inches 1 in height, and weighs just six pounds. She is of perfect symmetry in limb and feature, and altogether a pleasing and gentle child. The Princess was presented pre-sented to and most graciously noticed by the Emperor and Empress of the Frcnoh a very short timo before the commencement of the war. Daily News. |
