Show Ancient Egypt. Prof. William II. lioieington of Jancsville, Wisconsin, Wiscon-sin, will deliver a lecture at the Tabernacle Taber-nacle this Sunday evening, giving an account of tho recently deciphered hieroglyphics and the monumental re-cords re-cords which contain them, such as tomb?, temple, pyramids, &c. Also n account ot tho arts, sciences, man-tics man-tics and customs, institutions aud religion re-ligion m use among the ancient Egyptians, Egyp-tians, long prior to Moses aud Abraham, Abra-ham, which the discovery of their ancient an-cient language has brought to light. The story of Egypt never fails to interest in-terest the old and young of all classes. It throws much light upon the great seats of ancient civilisation in the south of Asia, uamoly: China, llindoostan, Bactriania and Babylonia. From a number of press uotices before us, we see that the locturor is highly spoken ol wherever he has appeared as being a ripe scholar, having a comprehensive comprehen-sive knowledge of the subject on which ho treats, the land of the Pharaohs. The lecture commences at 6 o'olook aud ie free to all. A collection however how-ever will bo taken up at the close, to defray the. traveling expenses of the Professor.
