Yeslerday morning, before the opening of tho District Court, some parties occupying the front scats which had been turned with their backs to tho bench, thought they would turn one of them and have a better chance to see as well as hear. The scat wa6 lifted to be turned, and was promptly seized by the olliccrs of court; and fir a few seconds it seemed as if ,'omehody was going to pet angry. The seat was replaced, and one of tho men, Mr. Sliencer, was brought before the Court, which was duly opened. Having Hav-ing stated to the Court that he only wanted to turn the seat and did not know ho was interfering with the officers, he was fined $", which was paid. |
