Show Singular Ocurrenct. Mrs. Sophia Ilannan, wife of Mr. Hugh H. Ilannan, living a mile and a half west of I'a-toria, lib, died, a few days ago, after a lingering illness of eight years, occasioned by a cancer in the stomach. Pour or five hours after her death, when she bad been properly laid out, the family, who were in an adjoining room, heard a noise like the falling of some heavy body on the floor, and, hurrying into the room in which the deceased lay, they were horrified to discover that the gases which had been accumulate g in her stomach, finding no outlet, hi d burst it open with a report that ac u-ally u-ally jarred the whole house.
