Show Miss Kline's Readings. Our notice no-tice of this lady's reading was crowded out yesterday morning. We were sorry to see so few in attendance, at-tendance, but thoee who did go were fully repaid by the choice selection of prose and poetry presented them. For one so young Miss Kline possesses extraordinay vocal and facial powers, and holds complete control over both voice and actions. Her reading of Tennyson's "Maud" was finely rendered. rend-ered. The lady leaves this morning for the east, where we wish her every success. |
