Show Annual Conkkukni-k. Tho Annual An-nual CouferoiKM of tho I'huivh ol'.lesua Christ of Latter-day Saints commences this morning at 10 o'clock in tho Mow Tabernacle. Independent of those who will arrive from tho different parts of tho Territory, there will doubtless be a largo ultendaneo of tho people of tUis oily. The Annual and Semi-annual Conferen.H'i are always looked forward to with much interest by the people of tho whole Territory. Friends of many years standing; separated by the changes and removals incident to a new country, find in them seasons of reunion and social intercourse. The leading men of tho church then meet, and tho people have tho benefit ol their experience and rellectious in discoveries dis-coveries suited to tho times. And the business that may bo presented is always al-ways a source of interest and expecta tion. Although tho favorable weather for sowing and planting will prevent many from coming from a long distance, thero is no doubt tho audiences will bo very large; and in the various meetings meet-ings that will bo held much will be said and done of general interest, of which wo shall eudeavor to give a faithful faith-ful and condensed report |
