Show I Cask (if Replevin. Yesterday ai' ' lernoon, liotorc his Honor Judge Clinton, Clin-ton, a case of replevin for a horse was tried, in which Mr. Bircuiushaw, of i Bountiful, was plaintiff. Mr. B. hid six witnesses, who swore pos:tive'y to the horse being his. The defendant ; also bad several witnesses, the last of . whom, Mr. William Showell, test' lied to having purchased the horse of a "colored gemman" bearing the patronymic patro-nymic of Able, who is pretty well known to the police.: The Judge decided deci-ded the horse was the property of Mr. I Bircmnshaw. 1 ' |
