Show LITIGATION AT HEBER Judge Dusenberry Hearing Some Important portant Cases Heber June 15 Judge Dusenberry held three sessions of the district court yesterday The third session convened at S oclock in the evening When the court opened at 930 a m the first case heard was that of J W Clyde and A 1 Murdock vs Frederick Freder-ick Rasland et a The case came up for further argument before the court Court after hearing the arguments of counsel denied the motion to set aside the attachment AVilliam G Rasland was granted letters let-ters of administration in the estate of Thomas Rasland deceased In the cause of Jeffs vs Cummings et al the plaintiff filed a motion asking ask-ing for judgment on the pleadings against the defendant After hearing arguments the court sustained said motion and defendants asked for two hours time in which to answer which was granted The case was resumed at 8 oclock p m and defendants concluded to make no defense whereupon the court gave plaintiff judgment for the sum of 630665 Midway Irrigation company made application ap-plication to have default set aside and to be allowed to answer in the case of j Wasatch Irrigation company vs Ed I uard Fulton et aI and their motion was allowed Isaac R Baum et a vs James W Thomas This is a suit to quiet title of water of Blue Ledge creek A crowd of witnesses for both parties were I sworn in and case was in progress when court adjourned I |
