May These two men will be remembered re-membered as having committed the robbery of the Springville bank a month or two ago Deputy Sherili Gathri relates that on the 18th of April last he and his companions arrested Maxwell and Pearson for horse stealing but through their carelessness Maxwell succeeded in regaining his gun and held them up taking from them two horses two guns a gun scabbard and a cartridge belt and after procuring these they rode toward the Union Pacific railroad thence to the Robbers Roost section In Sweetwater county Wyo after which he could find no trace of them until he heard of them In the custody of Serf Storrs of Utah county Sheriff Gathri describes the guns which Max welland companion took from him and aids as well as the gun scabbard and horses There is a slight discrepancy in the description of one gun while the scabbard has been cut oft and the initials J C have been scratched off The outlaws mentioned did not outaws mentoned possess the horses described by Mr Gathri at the time of the Springville robbery The description of Maxwell and Person Per-son I in nearly every particular exact even to the habiliments and supposed nationality or
