Show The Utah Kindergarten Association I The Utah Kindergarten association gave a tea at the home of Mrs H S Young yesterday afternoon from 2 oclock until 5 which was largely attended at-tended The feature of the afternoon was a lecture on The First Gift by Miss Emmeline Wells Miss Lyle Young played portions of E Puritana little Violet Craig recited The Man in the Moon Frances Young Lone Ago and Jack the Giant Killer Miss Josie Jo-sie Morris read and Masters John and Willie Swinger sang Master Bertie Clive the child violinist played the Cornflower Waltzes The diningroom was in charge of Mrs H J Young Miss Sadie Kimball Kim-ball Miss Florence Crismon and Miss I Winnie Conrad The association also served dinner at the same place to twelve clerks I from the Z C M I at noon The object of the association is to place kindergarten instruction within the means of those parents who cannot can-not pay the present charges Such deficits de-ficits as may occur will be supplied by the association as far as practicable practica-ble The Eighteenth ward kindergarten kindergar-ten will be under the auspices of the new organization and Miss Emmelina B Wells will be the superintendent |
