FED SCHC ON TOld T-Old Nnn Whois Charged Wit A Assault Fred Schaach an old man weighted down with he whitewhiskersof sixty vi ters was on trial befor Judge Norel yesterday charged wIth a assault saul ith an intent to commit rape on Ca Jensen a girl of 17 or 18 who has since married The ccmplalnt alleges the offense to have bee committed on the 25t of July lat although the warrant was nt asked for until September The testimony developed tat the girl worked for Schaach together wIth her brother and father that they all lived in one room at Schaachs house excepting at night when Schah slept in the barn She averred he came Il after dark lit a light and attempted but she resisted 0 outrage her and ext day went home The defense alleged that this was untrue un-true and that the father and brother continue work far nearly two months afterward aterwar morning The case will g to the jury this
