Show DEATH OF MRS GRACE Nephi Pioneer Who Has Gone to the Great Beyond Ir Elizabeth Williams Grace died at Nephi yesterday morning at 3 oclock after a illness of only a few I days She has been a great sufferer for many years I She was n native of Liverpool England I I Eng-land where she was born in 1S23 There j she and her husband Isaac Grace became I be-came Latterday Saints and In the cae Laterday I ea 1852 emigrated to Nephi Utah She was the first white lady to establish I estab-lish residence at that place where she and her husband at once became identified I iden-tified as leaders In the community They were both excellent singers and a members of the choir delighted I meetinggoers and amusementseekers for many years in fact no meeting I place of amusement or social gathering was deemed complete without them I President Brigham Young was very fond of hearing the voice of Mrs Grace I and her admirers believed her to be equal to the best if not superior to any a a chorister Mr Grace died about the year 1S75 leaving Mrs Grace and seven chil dren and though she was courageous and performed the duties of a mother to perfection the sparkle of happiness and smile of contentment never came back to her face She leaves three sons four daughters daugh-ters many grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous friends and admirers to mourn her departure When the old settlers of Nephl think of the joyous days of pioneer settlement settle-ment they will always hear the sweet happy voice of Mrs Grace and their blessings 10 with her I |
