Show FflUEl9iIS BALL Unique Decorations Heightert Bril Haney of Scene Fully 500 guests enjoyed the hospl tnllty of Perseverance lodge No OS B of L F and Salt Lake lodge No Cs B of H T at a ball at the Union Opera house last night The decorations decora-tions were unique and elaborate probably prob-ably surpassing anything of the kind ever seen here before They were especially es-pecially appropriate for a ball of this character as in a hundred Ingenious ways railroad features were suggested On the west wall was painted a moun tam railway scene and just before it was constructed a small track across which was a mIniature railnny train complete from locomotive to caboose A large headlight was placed at each end of the hall while scores of railway lanterns of all colors were grouped about the ceiling and walls which nith the colored incandescent globes added to the beauty of the scene The musicians stand was transformtej into a bower and epch lady was given a bouquet of flowers and each gentleman a boutonniere The programmes had covers especially designed representing represent-ing railroad scenes The various dances were given titles in honor of railroad towns orders or men The dancing continued until 2 ocloclc |
