ganlzaton of a permanent charter Major Grant was elected president Captain Joseph E CaIne vice pre dent and Lieutenant rank T Hinds secretary and treasurer A committee on constitution and bylaws consisting of Colonel John Q Cannon Captain John F Critchlow Captain Cane and Captain Frank Jennings was appoint e ThIs committee Is expected to meet durIng the next few days and prepare a report to be submitted at a general meeting to be held at the residence resi-dence of Captain Cane 67 E street I next Saturday night Major Grant Presides The meeting was opened by the ejec ton of Major Grant as chairman The frt business was a discussion as to the best method of perfecting an or ganizatlon Right at the outset Adjutant Ad-jutant General Burton and Governor Wells were made honorary members The
