Show I WINDSORS LECTURE A Full House Greets the First Appearance of the Professor Tho Thirteenth ward meetinghouse waa packed to overflowing at the phrenological val lecture of Prof Windsor last evening The professor had an attentive audienca all evening and the people left with feelings feel-ings of regret that the interesting lecture had not lasted longer The speaking was practically as follows The professor always divides it into three classes The first class is the one which A knows about phrenology and believes in it J > he second those who have not studied the science but would believe in it if they had the third is that class which will never be hove anything no matter how plainly b put Phrenology i a science and a science is a thing that is known beyond a doubt No two minds are alike the doubt ing from different combinations of points of point character Infallibility in phrenology is not claimed for the individual but for the art which he represents Some people be lieve in physiognomy and do not believe in phrenology and yet the two are so closely allied a to be almost indistinguishablo from one another In studying phren ology the first thing t remem bered is that what the mind is the man will be I a man is weak in mind he will be weak in body You can tell what them is within by the outside appearances ther A man can be told at onco by his appearance if he is in his natural health There are two kinds of temperaments the blond and the brunette IhoblcnJe is sanguine temperament and has a good circulation The blonde men have the blood and brains but have not the dignity Brunette men have dignity and not so good a circulation They have executive power All our greatest men and statesmen come from the brunette type but where type they are low men they aro the blackest criminals men The professor then gave a series of chart seres lectures and showed the difference in skulls He said he could tell what a man should do and who he should marry The professor will give lectures tonight to-night Thursday and Saturday evenings for women only on Saturday afternoon and for men only on Friday evening He had Y two subjects on the stand and described I their characters to perfection descrbe J |
