Show Elva J. Johnson Succumbs At 72 L . V ' Elva Johnson Johnson, age 72, died Oct. 30, 1981 in the Duchesne Hospital of causes following a lingering illness and incident to age. SHE WAS born Aug. 3. 1909 in Pacheco, Mexico to George and Emma Jane Kartchner Johnson. She married Leonard Axel Johnson June 13. 1934 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a life-long resident of Salt Lake City, spending the last six years with her sons in Roosevelt. She was a past member of the Center Ward in Salt Lake City, serving as teacher and Relief Society president. SURVIVORS are her sons. Ronald L. Johnson, Roosevelt; Marlin D. Johnson, Vernal and N. Ray Johnson. Bountiful: 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild: brothers. Newell Johnson and Jack Johnson, both Salt Lake City, and a sister, Roberta ELVA J. JOHNSON Mikesell, Salt Lake City. Her funeral was held Monday Mon-day at Russon Brothers Bountiful Boun-tiful Mortuary with interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. |
