Show IDAHO LEGISLATURE A Resolution Passed JCxtemliug the Session Ses-sion Until Monday BOISE Ida March 4Special The legislature today found that it could not get through tonight and a resolution passed extending the session until Monday Mon-day at 2 pm The governor vetoed the liquor bill fixing an uniform license of f300 which is a reduction of 200 in the larger towns The house sustained the veto The senate passed the bill over the veto The antirailroad ticket scalper bill passed by the senate was killed in the house The female suffrage amendment was killed by a vote of 23 to 12 not the necessary twothirds The senate bill was passed making it unlawful for employers em-ployers to make any membership in labor la-bor organizations a condition of employment em-ployment I I The senate by a vote of 1 to 2 passed the bill to establish a school of science at Coeur dAlene City Whites bill governing gov-erning the location of mining claims was passed The senate went into committee of the whole on the appropriation bill I was amended in many features cutting down clerk hire etc and reducing the appropriations for penitentiary improvements improve-ments from 25030 to 12500 The militia appropriation was entirely stricken out and the deficiency appropriation to cover the expense ol the militia in connection with the Coeur dAlene riots was reduced from 2365160 to 16000 A provision was added giving the militia 1 a day extra ex-tra The bill to establish a reform school at Mountain Home was passed |
