First South and Fourth East streets Thursday evening March 16 for the benefit of the Womans Rescue Home The members of the Orpheus Glee club have tendered their services it being their first appearance in public under the direction of A H Peabody conductor con-ductor The members of this club for some time past have been working on a number of part songs which are perfect gems and have never been rendered before be-fore in Utah In making this their first appearance on behalf ol the Womans Rescue Home they are doing a worthy action one that will endear the boys to Salt Lakes best citizens The club in question is composed of twenty members leading singers of the city Professor Radcliffo has very generously given his services for this evening and will render some organ rfolos that will amply repay anyone going to bear Mr George D Pyper and Willard Squires both members of the glee club Mrs H C Woodrow and Mattie Royal have tendered their services as soloists and Miss Celia Sharp pianist for this occasion The piano to be used has been lent by Mr B N Jenkins who will send a new Concert Grand For the trustees of the Congregational church too much praise cannot be given them for their kindness in donating the use of their beautiful edifice The admission is 50 cents and it is only fair to ask the people peo-ple of this city by their attendance to show how well they
