Show BURNED TO DEATH The Horrible Fate of a French I Courtesan An Exploded lamp the Cnuso of the Blaze Suffering Untold Agonies at an Early Hour Minnie Brown a French courtesan I about forty years of age was so badly burned at an early hour this morning that I I her death is but a matter of a few hours i or may be moments In company with one II of her inmates she was sitting near I tablo in her houso at 15S West South Temple when the lamp exploded The main portion I por-tion of the conents were spilled upon her and in a few seconds her light clothes were ablaze Her companion poured a pitcher of water upon her but without effect The woman then ran out into the street and pulled off her clothes with the uid of a colored man who saw her see rushed into The Cave where sho was kindly cared for until the I arrival of Dr McAchran An examination proved that the woman was budly burned 1 about the bicast and arms and other portions por-tions of her body and at an early hour this morning she was suffering untold agonies Dr McAchran then gave it as his opinion that her death 3 a matter of but a very short timea few moments or a few hours at the latest and the last chapter would beat be-at an end |
