Show Davis Okays Annexing Into Sewer District FARMINGTON The Davis County Commission Thursday agreed to sign a resolution re-solution annexing a portion of Centerville into the South Davis Sewer District. THE PFOPERTY, which reaches fr n th; center line of Lund Lane suth to the existing ex-isting South Davis Sewer District Dis-trict boundary line, has been de-annexed by the Central Davis Sewer District, according accord-ing to South Davis Sewer District Dis-trict Chairman Vernon Carr. The annexation has been requested, re-quested, Carr said, so that all of Centerville will be in the South Davis Sewer District. THE TWO separate districts were established in the I960's. Since then, Carr said Centerville Center-ville has grown north of the Central Davis system. Speaking before county commissioners Thursday, Carr said there has been no opposition to the proposed annexation. A PRELIMINARY draft of the annexation resolution was approved by the commission. A final draft creating a new district dis-trict boundary will be signed by the commission this week. |
