Show DELAYED LUMBER MOVING j Floods in Idaho and Oregon are Rapidly Subsiding Messrs Nibley and Spencer of the I Oregon Lumber company were in the city yesterday looking after the several I Utah contracts which the company ha recently secured among them being that of furnishing the lumber for the retmbering of the Horn Silver and constructing the new concentrator For the past several weeks great quantities quan-tities of the companys lumber which should nave been delivered have been tied up back of the floods in Idaho and I Oregon and as a result operations at Frisco end in several other mining camps have been greatly delayed The gentlemen stated to a Herald reporter that the road is now clear the waters are rapidly going down and there is nO likelihood of further trouble with the elements The companys Baker Cit and mountain mills are now being operated op-erated to their fullest capacity and the product is very great Although the company has the cn tact to furnish the Union Pacific with all of its ties i is anticipated that this will make much of an increase in the business for the reason tat the water damage t the road in the north and northwest has not been in the loss or destruction of ties but of roadbed and trestlinc The repairs of the breaks will in reairs te brks wi co sequence require but comparatively little timber cmpatvel |
