may be said that one local bank keeps a t standing advertisement announcing that itt it-t has 1000000 to loan in Utah lr The clearing house returns for the weok are very satisfactory Out of the twenty four of the leading cities of tho United States reporting five of them show an increase in-crease and among this number is Salt Lake with 165 added to her credit The general business of the whole country would seam to be in good condition as the loading cities of the United States show an increase of 1L2 per cent for the week sl Just closed as compared with the same week last year l J In the
