Show STTJDEBAKEE BROS Will Erect a Large Wagon and Carriage Repository The HotelTempleton Passes Into the Hands of the ZIons Savings Bank Hon Fred S Fish who married the daughter of John TVI Studebaker and is one of the prominent Republican politicians of Indiana has been In the city for a week in the interest of Studebaker Bros the great carriage and wagon manufacturers Mr Fish is the legal adviser of the firm and his presence here was fdr the purpose of selecting a location for a new building which the Studebakers have decided to erect in this city To a HERALD reporter Mr Fish who was inthe company of Mr Vincent tho local manager of the Studebakers said that their business had increased to such proportions that a larger building had become a necessity The Studebakers he said believed I taking the lead everywhere and to enable them to compete successfully with the other large concerns here it was necessary to secure se-cure a larger building and bettor facilities While they had not fully decided on a location loca-tion thoy had several sites in view and they were yet uncertain whether to combine com-bine the repository and sales department and erect a large building on Main or some otber street or to build the repository in a place where they can have railroad trackage and secure a salesroom on Main street The Studebaker whatever they will determine de-termine in this respect will erect a large and expensive building and one which will I be a valuable acquisition to the city |
