Show I SOUTHERN UTAH CATTLE Jaine Audrns Says Stock Never Wintered Better Cattle in southern Utah have never wintered better said i James Anderson of St George one of the heaviest cattle cat-tle men of the west yesterday afternoon after-noon to a Herald reporter We have had an abundance of snow and rain and the ranges are now dn splendid shape Our loss will be merely nominal nomi-nal consisting almost entirely of old cows The grass has already commenced com-menced to get green and indications are that the coming season will be one of great prosperity for the cattle men of our section should the market give signs of improvement At present prices are very low but better things are promised In Iron and Beaver counties the cattle cat-tle and sheep men have sustained heavy losses I on account of the extreme weather but the Garfield and Kane county people have driven their cattle and sheep far out toward the bluffs of the Colorado where they have wintered In splendid shape |
