Show Farmington The Swinging Sams Chapter of the Good Sams, national organization, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Miller for a patio dinner Saturday evening. Pete and Arlene Egan and son Peter, have been houseguests house-guests of Arlene's mother, L?ori? Miliar. Th? Fg" t residents of Mesa, Ariz. Clayton and Virgie Rose are grandparents of twins, a boy and a girt born to Dennis and Cindy Rose on Aug. 15 in Denver, Colo. The twins were premature weighing 3 lbs. 10 oz. and 2 lbs. 4 oz. They were doing well at this writing. The 10th Ward Relief Society Socie-ty held their opening fall social which was a blue ribbon affair at the church Aug. 10. There was a supper and a program featuring various talents of the members. Mary Lou Lloyd is Relief Society president. Brian and Linda Gough are parents of a baby boy born Au-gust Au-gust 16. The babe will be named Jaycee Dustin and he has two brothers and one sister. sis-ter. Paternal grandparents are Alma and Beverly Gough, Farmington and maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Tavoian, Salt Lake City. Blanche Wilcox accompa nied several of her sons and daughters and their families for an outing to Lake Powell. On the outing were the Leo Wilcox Wil-cox family and Harlow Wilcox family, all Farmington; Cor-dell Cor-dell Wilcox family of Bountiful and the Ralph and Winn Wilcox Wil-cox families of Provo. Russell and Lugeari Walpole and family fami-ly of Mapleton joined the travelers for the outing. The entire group returned to their homes, but Blanche spent several days with the Walpole family and attended Education Week at BYU. Ann Hansen, daughter Susan and son David, who were injured recently in an automobile accident, are now at home recuperating from their injuries and improving satisfactorily. Helen Hughes entertained at a party honoring a niece, Mrs. Curtis Simpson of Salt Lake City. She was honored for her birthday and was also given a baby shower. Guests were all cousins, Mrs. Anne Fields, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Clifton Cook. Salt Lake City; Elaine Partridge, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Ellen Sheppard and daughter Mary Ellen, Ogden. Luncheon was served followed by the special event. |
