Show At a recent debate and forensic fore-nsic meet Viewmont Vikings received several honors. At the Weber State College meet. Viking debaters who broke into elimination rounds were Scot Iorg, Bent Seegmiller. Todd Leishman and Steve Kretschmann. Judy Shaffer won second place in oratory and Suzanne Gadd was a semi-finalist semi-finalist in oratory. AT THE Copper Classic meet in Jordan School District, Judy Shaffer received the first place trophy in oratory in a field of over 100 participants. Martin Telaroli, David Larsen received gavels as outstanding out-standing speakers in legislative legisla-tive forum and Kevin Green was a finalist in the top session of legislative forum. Knowlton Honors Hostages The George Q. Knowlton Elementary School in Farm-ington Farm-ington had a special ceremony on Jan. 20 to celebrate the freedom free-dom of the 52 American hostages. hos-tages. THE PUPILS tied 900 yellow yel-low ribbons on the trees in the front of the school building. The students of the school will celebrate Lincoln's birthday birth-day on Feb. 12 at. p.m. The kindergarten and first grade pupils will present a program of patriotic songs.
