Big Jlininc Strike Near Boise BOISE CITY Ida Feb 20 Special telegram tele-gram to THE HEUALDJ Boise is having quite an excitement over new mining strikes and discoveries that have occurred strkes In the mountains near here on the Idaho road Some six months ago Rounseville and Ormsby bought a prospect known as the Kessler mine that made a fine showing The vein was then fourteen inches wide Mining experts then said if the vein did not pinch out it was a valuable prospect I The owners ran a tunnel over one hundred end fifty feet and as they went down on the vein it widened out until it is now two feet wide Specimens brought to this city today showed ore that will run 2OCO to the ton The average assays now show t115 a ton free milling ore and 700 sul lhuret The town is considerably excited over the news The printing office has been kept busy printing location blanks and many left Lore today for the scene of excitement to make locations The owners of the Kessler refused 25000 for the mine today There are many other good prospects pros-pects in the same locality
