EvCounsul Richard II Schooly arrested Special to THE HERALD Examiner Dispatch ROCHESTER July 15Colonel Richard H Schooly the wellknown politician who was appointed counsul to Port Rowan Ontby President Cleveland was arrested yesterday charged with being implicated in an attempt to corrupt three of the grand jurors who recently had under consideration con-sideration the matter of indicting Detective Detec-tive John Lynch for the killing of James Sloddard and who in May Schooly was subpoenaed in tho procedings following the exposure but was ot of town having gone to n Canadian port He returned Saturday and was arrested at 2 30 oclcc yesterday The warrant was issued on two sealed indictments the first charging him with conspiracy and the second with em bracery in preparing a paper intended to influence the vote of the grand jury Mr Schdolyiurnishedbail in tho sum of 500 on 1 each for indictment Developments are looked
