| Show COKESPONDENT HOLME He Says that Dr Fraser Fuller Has Mae False Accnaitions Against Hun Special to THE HERALD Examiner Dispatch 1 NEW YORK Nov 14 Judge Leicester Holme who is mixed up in the Fuller divorce t vorce suit in talking about the matter tonight to-night said The statement a made in the case is absolutely false and the trial i i ever had will demonstrate this beyond a doubt I never knew Mrs Fuller until the doctor introduced me to her on the eve of his marriage Subsequently to that I acted as her attorney at his request and had him nppointed guardian to take some jewels and j5000 in cash as a bequest to be I paid to her on her marriage In July last Mrs Fuller went to California accompanied by her aunt and to visit a brother She with her brother owned jointly avery a-very large ranch located in Cal ifornia devised to them by Chares Hastings Since that time I have not seen Mrs Fuller The only possible mo tive for this action that I can conceive is a vindicative spirit on the part of the doctor by reason of the fact that am attorney for Mrs Fuller in the action for the construc tion of her fathers will in which ton wi among other things she objects to her husband being made a party defendant as her guardian and the additional fact that some trouble had arisen The balance of her objections to the doctor is his using her money to pay his bills I can say nothing in consequence in denial but that the statement is absolutely false and to lament that ho should have seen fit to emblazon a charge to the world against his young wife by such a publication whan shte is absent three thousand thou-sand miles away with no immediate rela tives to protect her here |
