Show A CASE OF TRUE LOVE A Widow of Fortyfive Olrers a Young Man of Twentyfive 200000 to Mary Her Special to THE HERALD Examiner Dispatch CHICAGO April 3A strange story was told to Judge Collins this morning in the suit of E E Hutton to recover certain moneys from his stepson H W Kings bury Huttons wife in whose interest the suit is really brought has been four times married Her first husband was A R Kingsbury Kingsbury died leaving property worth 700000 and the widow married General Lawrence A sensational divorce suit followed and Mrs Lawrence found herself once more free Her third choice was a Mr Vandennest Again the lady was divorced and at the age of forty five years she married her fourth husband He was about twentyfive years of age and an Englishman handsome and of the good old stock of the Huttons The manner man-ner of Mrs Vanden nests meeting and subsequent sub-sequent marriage to Hutton was romantic to say the least Her son young W H Kingsbury and Hutton were colieeemates Kingsbury took Hutton home with him and introduced the Englishman to Mrs Vandennest She fell violently in love with Hutton and it is alleged offered the young man 200000 worth of property in Chicago if he would wed her Hutton being poor accepted and the two were married secretly and the son young Kings bury did not learn of the strange compact until two months later when Mr and Mrs Hutton were remarrried publicly When the son was a child his mother was appointed ap-pointed guardian of his property the amount being about forty thousand dollars Later another guardian was appointed Mrs Hutton still has her sons interest in her possession however and her husbands suit against the son is to knock out young Kingsburys title to the amount |
