AMONG THE CROOKS I A F Wilcox Held For Forging a Check JOHN KEEN STOLE THE HARNESS A Negro Holds Up William Kront But in Recognized and Subsequently Jailed The Grant Jury A F Wilcox tho young man who under took to raise the wind a few days ago by getting anotber party to cash at the Equitable Equit-able Coop a check to which the signature of T W Jennings had been forged had an examination in the police court yesterday afternocn As Mr Eichnor was engaged in Commissioner Pratts court Clerk Glenn was called upon to prosecute and he con ducted the case ably Ho wove such a web of evidence around the prisoner that the latter made no effort to escape and the result re-sult was that ho was held to await the ac tion of the grand jury his bond being fixed at 500 In default of bail he went back to I jail
