In the Third District The trial of the case of George C Kidder vs I N Fisher ot al was resumed in the Third district court yesterday morning The plaintiff sued to recover about 50 alleged al-leged to be owing him by the defendants for a bill of lumber He failed to make out his case however and the jury returned 1 verdict for the defcndents In the case of the Board of Educationet al vs L i G Hardy in which the plaintiff asks for an order compelling the defendant to turn over to Treasurer Walden some 30000 school taxes collected by him Judge Zane set the hearing the alternative writ for March 1 In the case of H A Larstack vs M C Fox the defendant was allowed to file an amended answer In the case of H V Meloy vs E L Craw in which the plaintiff sued to recover re-cover 200 alleged to be due as commission on a real estate transaction judgement was rendered for the defendant In the case of A Moyer vs Frank Miller the defendant was allowed thirty days to file a motion for a new trial m In the case of Alice D Wellington vs Mrs R R Fullmer involving the ownership owner-ship of certain chatties by consent judgment judg-ment was rendered for the plaintiff for the property or for 225 and costs
