Barrundlas Widows Claim WASHINGTON Marsh 3Trainsito Hur tarte widow of General Barrundia in her own name and as representative of her six minor daughters and Ramon Bengobiata I a representative of his wife Barrundias I daughter have filed with the secretary of I state claims against the United States for 1000000 for having surrendered Barrundia to the Guatamalan authorities at whose lads he lost his life There is a defect in tne claim which in the opinion of the stat department officials will prove fatal to it and that i the fact that it is made by it zens of a foreign country without the knowledge and consent of that country I is said at the department that it is a well established principle in this country as well as others that claims of citizens of one ctzens country against another are recognized only when presented In the name of the country of which the claimant is a citizen
