| Show Z C M IS DISPLAY A Mercantile Palace Decorated for the Holidays Z C M I is always one of the mos attractive places in town during the holiday season has this year qu cjone I itself and is the centre of attraction The dry goods side of the mammoth store is a perfect mercantile palace and the holiday decorations are a fitting dress Window curtains bunting flags ribbons and all other articles that are large enough to be seen are draped in the most artistic manner forming arches across the building and covering I cover-ing up the wide space above the shelve The interior decorations are the work of Joseph Silyerthorn and John Maynes and when completed will make one of the finest displays ever seen in this city The windows where fine dry goods and notions are displayed are simply b yond description there is a delicacy and richness about them that can only ba appreciated when seen in a full clear light This is the work of Mr Arthur Simmons and he may well be proud of the effort Oscar Bourne shows his taste in an artistic arrangement of fancy goods in one of the windows The grocery window is dressed on a scale in keeping with the institution It is an ordinarysized grocery store in corrpact shape The display of candies can-dies tusars rice ruislns and other I 14 staples is as extensive as It is tastemi It reflects great credit upon Charles C Lenzi and J H Bach If yon want to become enthused over Christmas make a visit to Z C M I |
