Show p r It Should be Granted Mr S P Teasdel was busily engaged yesterday in circulating for signatures a petition that will be presented to the City Council this evening asking that several improvements be made in the Fire Department all looking to an increase in-crease in the efficiency of the service Among other things the petition will ask that horses be purchased for the engine and nook and ladder truck that an additional hose cart be added that more men be regularly employed and that the department add to its appliances ap-pliances a quantity of rubber blankets to be used in the protection of goods etc from water The petition will probably be acted on by the City Council Coun-cil this evening p r |
