Show I A SECTION of the Salvation Army got in trouble Sunday night at Wilkesbarre Pennsylvania It appears that the city authorities had determined to give the I citizens of that place one nights rest at i I least against the noise and clamor of t the Army people and issued a proclamation procla-mation against the beating of drums j I thumping of tambourines singing and I shouting on the streets etc The valiant army people were not to be surpressed I however by the mayors proclamation They turned out in full force as usual I I and made what was Intended to be a peaceful sabbath evening hideous with I their din Tae crowd was charged by the police who arrested quite a number of them and as they had no three dollars dol-lars to pay their fine they were sent to jail Nothing short of gaging will keep these Salvation Army people quiet In the meantime the Salvation folks should tike Pucks advice Keep out of che police po-lice courts |
