| Show The Coming Star The Senate committee on territories today unanimously instructed Saunders to report the bill for the admission into the Union southern Dakota The bill provides that a census of the population of southern Dakota shall be taken during dur-ing the coming summer and if the popu lation is eufficiec to entitle that part of the territory to representation in Congress Con-gress it dhall be admitted as a state The present territorial government is to con tinue and the territory remaining will be called North Dakota |
