| Show Almost a Serious Fire On Wednesday evening at the depot at Wales Sanpete county by some means a lamp vas overturned or bureted scattering the oil in ablaze a-blaze In close proximity were some coal oil powder etc It caused quite a panic to Mr Conrad Mr Fred Candland anattacha of the railway seeing the burnitg oil going below Wis desirous of going down to avert what he believed might be a serious conflagration Mr Conrad knowing the inflammable natme of the storage below objected but Mr Candlaud insisted and found the straw etc already ablaze By tie aid of some buckets of water the fire below was extinguished thus much valuable freight and depot property were saved |
