Show New Art Exhibit The Anna R. Spiess exhibition, exhibi-tion, featuring w atercolors and oils by Anna R. Spiess. will open at the Bountiful-Paws Art Center on Sundav, Nov. 23. The public is invited to attend the opening reception and meet the artist on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the center. ANNA SPIESS. well known Utah artist and long-time Bountiful resident, has been a prodigious producer of paintings paint-ings during these past vears. Her stvle has dealt primarily with representing the land- scapes of Utah, the Northwest and Canada. Manv of her paintings will be for sale. Mrs. Spiess has studied w ith Harold Pemont Olson, the late Joseph A. Everett, and was influenced in-fluenced artisticui'v bv her uncle. un-cle. Law rence Squires and I ee Greene Richards, with whom she often worked. THE ARTIST has exhibited wide!) and has received m.tnv awards for her woik. not onlv in Utah but also in Oiegon. Colorado and South Dakota. The exhibit will continue through Pec. 31. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, Satur-day, 10 to 6. Sundav s. 2-5, closed Mondays. There is no admission charge to wsii the gallery. |
