JsiiBAI.L season is " ;rj up this year for 'iiti Wes Johnson, Tom Clay, Kevin Nitzel, Dale Christiansen and Richard Johnson. Kevin Nitzel has been injured and won't be able to start for the first game. Steve Grunwald will start this week in place of Nitzel in our first game against Granite at Woods Cross at 7:30 p.m., where we will watch the Farmers Far-mers go down! THE PEP rally on Friday will be the rowdiest ever with a few surprises in store for the Wildcats. The Wildcats wrestling team will be participating in their first match tomorrow at Roy. THIS YEAR'S varsity wrestlers are: 98 lbs., Craig Keller; 105, Mike Jordon; 1 12, Trent Overton: 119, Alan Anderson: 126, Todd Gale and Todd Schwendiman; 138, Richard Hatch; 145, Eric Barkdull; 155, Gordon Kerr; 167, Brad Pusey; 185, Scott Wiison; and heavyweight, Keith Holgreen. Finally, Wildcats, don't forget about turkey week next week. After serious and considerate con-siderate nominations in the main hall during both lunches, we will decide who at Woods Cross are the biggest turkeys. We will then honor them as Mr. Tom Turkey and Ms. Metilda Turkey. AND KEEP your eyes peeled for the Great Golden Turkey Egg that will be hidden somewhere at Woods Cross High, and keep your ears open for clues, starting tomorrow, on where that wonderful little egg will be hiding. Whoever finds it will be the winner of a great suprise! Good luck Wildcats. |
