Show 1 lnJdIS5 z?ss The Kay Nelson home has been one of activity during the holidays with the arrival of their son Tony and Mr. Nelson's Nel-son's brother Robert, who are engaged in mining exploration near Tucson, Ariz. Other relatives rela-tives from the area arrived for a visit in addition to friends and neighbors. The Joseph Hendry home has been filled to the brim during the holidays also. Arriving for Christmas Day was Stephanie Lubner of Milwaukee, Mil-waukee, Wise. She is a friend of the family and will remain at the Hendry's for a two-week stay. Also arriving for the holidays were Ralph and Kathryn Reeves and four children of Seattle, Wash. They also spent time at the home of his mother, Mrs. . Maxine Reeves in Centerville during their week's stay. Get well wishes are extended extend-ed to Mrs. Julia Thornley. She spent several days at Lakeview Hospital, but was released in time for Christmas. Christ-mas. Visiting at the Kent Noble home during the week was their daughter Kathy who has been attending Utah State University and working in that area. Kathy is planning a Jan. 20 wedding to Steven Hol-daway. Hol-daway. Mr. and Mrs. Al Jewell and son Ray enjoyed the company of Ray and Helen Lee on Christmas Day in addition to Aunt Ruby Layton of Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Also visiting at the Jewell home during the holidays were out of towners, Michael and Julia Taylor and daughter Sarah of Denver, Colo. They were in the area es- . pecially to visit Mr. Taylor's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor ' of Bountiful. Welcome to new residents, Harry and Carol Lee Radabough and family who have purchased the George La Sueur home on 1000 South. The Radaboughs are from Orem. He is a railroad inspector for Union Pacific. Lots of activities during the holidays which have kept youngsters and oldsters alike very busy. One of the most enjoyable en-joyable has been the Nutcracker for theatre goers at Kingsbury Hall on the U campus, once again proving to be a favorite with children as well as adults. Skiing has been superb. Those Christmas gifts of skis have been well used as a caravan to the hills have continued con-tinued throughout the week. Basketball games have been another favorite entertainment entertain-ment at the colleges as well as the high schools, in addition to hockey, in competition with holiday parties. No doubt, the busiest time of the year. And for all those interested in local government. Installa- I tion of the new mayor and two -city council members will be held Monday evening at city hall. City Recorder Alan T. Low will swear in Lawrence Urry as mayor and Annabelle Kagie Dixon and Terrell Bird as council members. The public is cordially invited to attend. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LaMoyne Anderson this past week were Staff Sgt. and Mrs. Cheryl Hunt of Atwood, Calif. Mrs. Hunt is the daughter of the Andersons. The Hunts are stationed in Atwood with the Air Force. Also visiting was John Schurfz of Price. The travelers also enjoyed visiting with Rick and Sizie Earnshaw while in the area. The noise of fire engines on Christmas Day was the result of a fire at the home of Norma and Lindon Grandy in Sorrento Sorren-to Estates. Their carport and storage area were heavily damaged in the fire which did not reach any section of their home. -i:-:: Paul and Sherrie Arnold are parents of a daughter, bom si Lakeview Hospital.
