Show Two Davis County Attorneys Leave FARMINGTON Two Davis County assistant attorneys attor-neys have resigned during the past month, leaving the County Coun-ty Attorney's Office "in a bind" for the next several weeks ATTORNEYS Neal Gunnar-son Gunnar-son and Don Redd have taken new jobs, Atty. Gunnarson with the Salt Lake County Attorney's Office and Atty. Redd has accepted a fulltime position with the State Office of Recovery Services, located in Farmington. Atty. Redd had been doing part-time work for the Recovery Recov-ery Services as part of his assignment for the County Attorney's Office. "Apparently "Apparent-ly he liked it well enough to go full-time with them," com mented County Atty. Rodney Page. MEANWHILE, Mr. Page noted, Atty. Gunnarson accepted a job with Salt Lake County (Attorney's Office) for a higher salary than Davis County could afford to pay. Atty. Page said the loss of these two men could mean a temporary backlog of criminal cases until replacements can be made, hopefully later this month or early in May. OTHERWISE, the county would ask the city attorneys to handle some of the misdemeanor misde-meanor cases with payment on a per-case basis until two new assistants can be hired, the county attorney explained, grb |
