Show K7ooff BUHL By ALICE MITCHELL 29&-U56 The past week has seen days and nights of extreme cold and ice which never melts. There were also nights and days of thawing and clear sidewalks. It was almost as if spring had arrived. Paul Buys is working in Tremonton and trying to find a home in which to move his family. Lynn Watson and family are back from Nevada and are living between the basement of their former home and the home of parents, the William Paul Buys. The William Paul Buys journeyed to Logan last Sunday Sun-day to attend the naming and blessing of their new granddaughter, grand-daughter, Stacie Buys, daughter of David and Bonnie. Bon-nie. Relatives and friends gathered to attend the celebration held in honor of the new daughter of Dennis Whittingtens. She was named Matilda, after her great-grandmother, great-grandmother, Matilda Dilks, who was a resident of West Bountiful. Little Matilda was named by Verl D. Wilson. There was celebration also at the home of the Norman Symonds, as Michael John was confirmed by his uncle, Kelly Gallagher. Jon Hyrum Martineau was also honored after his confirmation by his father Kent. Shirlene Maughan, Patrice Mitchell, Nancy Knudsen and Denice Dennis were among the many volunteers who assisted as-sisted in the Stake Blood Drive held Thursday, Feb. 8. The Second Quorum of Elders in the Second Ward are planning plan-ning a box social for March 10 at 7 p.m. Guests should decorate their boxes, which should contain dinner for two. There will be lots of fun and entertainment at this Dartv. |
