Show BQdOnaDudOll Councilman Max Hall has been hospitalized and is now at home. He is having therapy on his leg. which was injured when he was sandbagging at last year's flood. We hope he is soon recuperated. He and Claudette are excited over the arrival of their first grandchild, a baby girl born to Cordell and Barbara. The young couple live in Bountiful. Boun-tiful. A little time can cover many events. Friday night at the Second Ward dinner, the Indian dancer, Charles lllsley, used snakes in one of his dances. After the performance perfor-mance the 6ne snake was put in the wrong sack. Inadvertently, Inadver-tently, the snake was left outside out-side in the cold. Result, it was left outside and was frozen to death. As the dancer and public prepared lo weep for its death, the snake "came back to life". It appears that the snake had merely gone into an early stage of hibernation. It was very lively after some warming warm-ing up. The snake had livened up basketball practice for the Relief Society ladies, while they were looking for the missing snake. The Ardell Byingtons have had welcome visitors. Mrs. Byington's sister. Mrs. A. R. Smith came down from Poca-tello. Poca-tello. Ida. She came to Utah to see her son's new baby. The Byington's were also visited by their son Roger Byinton and wife Janice. They and their three children, came over from Layton to spend a happy hour. The Eugene Salmons relumed re-lumed from an exciting trip to Yellowstone. They went snowmobiling around Old Faithful. Jan had a ball visiting visit-ing with the Lawrence Alders while her parents and others of the family were out in the cold beautiful world. The Young People's dinner dance of the West Bountiful 3rd Ward was successful bevond expectations. The decorations done by Marianne Roberts were the greatest. They followed the theme of "love makes the world go round". The turkey dinner had all of the delicious accompaniments. |
