Her two attendants are: Cindy Evans, 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noal Evans of South Weber, first attendant; and Christine - Sweat, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Erickson of Farrhington. Miss Anderson, who has served as first attendant to Davis County Fair Rodeo queen Sherrie Anderson, receives her crown from last year's queen, Kathleen Barker. Miss Anderson began her reign over all rodeos held at Davis Downs at Lagoon in Farmington on July 4. the rodeo queen the past two years, is a senior at Utah State University. She has served as president of the Utah Junior Quarter Horse Association, and rodeo queen at USU, the Lehi Roundup and Pleasant Grove Strawberry Straw-berry Days. A VERY experienced horsewoman, this vivacious auburn-haired queen has been showing and riding horses for 11 years. She has also been a leader of a 4-H horsemanship club for the past seven years. Sheand her two attendants will participate in all rodeos at the Davis Downs rodeo grounds at Lagoon this summer and will then reign i over all horsemanship events during the Davis County Fair. |
