Show I Sincere Smile A genuine, sincere smile is still the finest passport to friendship and fellowship. But, sad to say, today's politician, poli-tician, practically everyone seen on television and salesmen sales-men and social pushers prostitute the smile displaying it in a calculated effort for personal or financial finan-cial gain. IT CAN be argued that even the most sincere smile is also displayed for personal gain, of a sort. It can also be said that smiles are better than scowls. What is the always-smiling politician smiling about anyhow? The country is overspending, going broke. The entertainer is smiling to show us all how nice a "guy" he is (whether he is or not) and over his inflated salary. THE SALESMAN is using smiles to sell. The social climber is grinning his way into the good graces of his targets. It would be nice to see a politician who didn't constantly con-stantly exhibit a public relations, rela-tions, commercial smile. LIFE CAN'T be that jolly, and we all know that, or should by now with taxes high, inflation high and uncontrolled un-controlled government spending certain to make both higher in the years to come. |
