Oct. 21. Mrs. Mary Jane BteVens, wife of the late Sidney Stevens, rounder of the Sidney Stevens Implement company and pioneer of Ogden, was laid at rest in the family plot in the Ogden City cemetery yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Stevens was 80 years of age and death was caused by general debility. The funeral fu-neral seaVices were held out of doors because be-cause of the influenza epidemic. Prayers were offered by Bishop James Ward, Patriarch Iarkin and Elder John McQuarrie, lifelong friends of Mrs. Stevens. They, with Alva Scoville of the stake presidency, paid high tribute in the deceased woman in their remarks. Bishop J. W. Ure of the Fifth ward conducted con-ducted the services, assisted by Counsellors Counsel-lors Brown and Volker. - The speakers dwelt upon the useful life of Mrs. Stevens and the calm and peaceful peace-ful manner in which she passed away. Many beautiful floral offerings were placed upon the bier. The pallbearers were four of her sons, together with A. . Brewer, George Halverson, Walter B. Scoville and H. A. Soderberg. Mrs.- Stevens is survived by the follow lng sons and daughters: Sidney O. Stevens, Charles H. Stevens, Albert U. Stevens, Walter F. Stevens, Mrs. F. H. DePuy and Mrs. G. T. Alvord of Logan, Mrs. A.
