A London letter, -peaking of tho terrible railroad clumi(y at 111, Franco, caused by tlio breaking ol a bridge, owing to the heavy rain storms, says the carriage fell on top of each other and im-mediately im-mediately disappeared in the river where they were broken up by the strength of the stream. Those of tho travellers who were not killed by the fall, were unable to escape from the wagons in which they were imprisoned im-prisoned and they wera carried down the river until they were dashed to pieces against the rocks, or slowly drowned. Over thirty bodies have already been recorered; but this unfortunately un-fortunately does not represent all the victims of the accident |
