Show Determined to Die. The following account of a determined deter-mined suioide appeared in the Juno-Lion Juno-Lion of last evening: John M. Blakey was recently in the employ ot W. D. Hendricks, on tbe U.. N. R. R., on what ia known as Bittlo creek, .north Bide of Bear river. Early on the morhing of the 7th of March he left bis hat and boots by hie bed and went down to the creek, returned to his bed, and went back again to the creek, which was frozen over except at a place where the men got water tor the camp. Here Blakey plunged into the water under tbe ice. Ab soon as it was ascertained that bo was missing the men commenced com-menced hunting for him; tracking him to tbe water they chopped through the ice and found him two and a half rods below where he went in, lying on hiB face in the mud, dead. He loft a note on his bed, directing that his debts be paid, and leaving tho money to Bettle them, , and luat his body be taken to his sister's. Tho body 'was brought to Lewiston, where an inquest was held ! 1 by A. P. Shumwuy, J. P., of Franklin, Frank-lin, when a verdict was rendered .
